After six months of planning, our trip to Tuscany and Umbria is finally here. I would like to thank everyone that contributes regularly to board for all the useful information I was able to find.

Thank you...the weather forcast looks good especially compared to home where it is supposed to rain for the next 5 days. I hope the wild flowers are in full bloom....it is my first spring trip to Europe...I have always gone in September or October so the change will be interesting...more daylight as well.

The red poppies should be fabulous, as well as some others! Have a wonderful time, drink lots of wine, try all the local dishes. Oh how I wish I were there right now.

You may have already left (I am on the West Coast) but more wishes for a good and safe trip. One year ago today, I was on the plane heading for a great month in Italy and Spain. A near perfect trip. By the way, weather was wonderful and the fireflies arrived at our agriturismo in Umbria the night we did. For this former East Coaster, a nostalgic treat. Dreamy! Have a FANTASTIC time.

You're probably on your way by now but just one more wish for a wonderful trip.
