Bus from Bristol to Wells

I'm working on how to get from London to Bristol to Wells on our trip to England this summer. I've found that once I'm in Bristol, I can take a bus to Wells, but I can't tell if I need a reserved bus seat ahead of time, like I could do (but I know I don't have to) for trains. And I guess I'd also like advice on whether it'd be sensible to get a reserved seat ahead of time, assuming I could, or if it'll work to just show up and take the first bus to Wells that comes along once I get off my train to Bristol from London. Can anyone help me out here please? Thanks.

You don't prebook buses like the 376

Note that the bus stop that you need in Bristol is directly at the bottom of the road leading up to Temple Meads station.

They also now use double-decker buses on that route, which should add to the excitement if you travel upstairs.

Yes -- it is just like a local bus running on a regular schedule and takes about an hour.
