Black box-Image theatre. Prague

Thanks to the input so far for our hotel booking in Prague End Feb.

I am now turning my attention to things to do.

I have been to Prague several times, but this time I am alone with my daughter (16).

I am considering the Theatre.
Has anyone seen the 'Black box' at the image theatre?

Opinions please on suitability for 16yr old with an interest in dance and music.
Or recomendations for other shows that may be equally suitable.

Many thanks

Muck

I was in Prague a week ago with my 16 year old daughter and we went to the WOW experience and she enjoyed it very much (so did I) .It is in Prikope St, about #29 or 31. Good Luck. Price about 500Kr.

Also you may want to see what's on at the National Theater. there is/was a dance performance there that I thought my dancing nieces would enjoy a lot, if I could take them to Prague.

Do you mean Black Light Theater? Depending on the production, it could be fun or boring. I saw one once, and got bored fast. Maybe check the reviews (Prague Post, or such) before you go. You can usually buy tix there.

We went to a black light theatre production a few years back during our visit to Prague (our daughter was then 14) and we figured it was one of the things to do...maybe it was the production that we saw but it was really boring and not very creative. We did go to the ballet one night and that was just beautiful and very inexpensive and we went to the Prague Symphony another evening.

"Risab" is right - you can see a world class ballet or symphony for the same price, or cheaper than the black light. If you like concerts, or opera, the concert halls alone are worth seeing & paying the price of a ticket. St Nicholas church, in Mala Strana, also has concerts, and is one of the most beautiful churches on earth. There are modern dance recitals, as well. I saw one at the State Opera house, but that was during the summer festival.

Thank you for your useful information so far, do any of you know a website that shows a definitive list of what is on?

I have searched around and the best I have found is:

http://www.pragueexperience.com/information/tourism.asp

If you know of something that includes concerts in churches etc, I would really like to hear about it.

Thank you !!
