Prague entertainment

Does anyone have any insight or opinions about either the Black Light Theater or Marionette Mozart Theater in Prague? We will be in Prague from the 19-24 of October and deciding on some evening entertainment, Thanks! Any suggestions are welcome.

yeah I am in Prague a lot but my entertainment tends to be sinking several beers in the pub with my friends.
In25 years of visiting Prague I have never felt the need to visit black light theatre or a marionette theatre.
I have on many occasions been to classical music concerts or the opera and there is always something on, also look for Folklore evenings in various places,I have taken friends to the Folklore gardens several times,

aslo the shepherdess cottage is pretty good, decent grilled food and a nice gypsy band playing music.

gus - do they still having beer gardens/beer halls with live beer garden/beer hall music? Remember long ago going to one - cheap and fun a la German beer halls.

I went to see "Don Giovanni" at the Marionette Theatre during our Christmas trip 2014. If you like marionettes or opera, I think you would find it amusing. The theater is very small and about half of the audience were children, and the opera they put up was the condensed version. If I remember correctly, we sat on wooden benches with backs, not one of those regular padded opera house seats. I love opera and Don Giovanni was the very first opera I saw many years ago at Tulsa Opera, so I enjoyed the marionette one in Prague.

U Fleku still has live music as you drink but it is just tourists that go there. I was last in there on a Sunday lunchtime a couple of years ago with an American friend who's son used to live in the city. great beer but the bloody accordion music drove me nuts.
Riegrovy Sady beer garden some times has live music on at night ,I was last in there in late June watching Wimbeldon tennis on the big screen there and sinking a few beers.
U Medvidku has a folk show on now and again but it is mainly for private groups. there are places that do medieval nights as well but I have never been to one.
