black light shows and what to do at night

I have read on older posts that the black ight shows are very touristy. i have read that Laterna Magica is the best of these. If you were 4 adults, would you skip these shows? Looking for thngs to do at night next week. Thress nights in Budapest.

I saw a black light theater performance in Prague last year. It wasn't "my thing"...some people loved it though. The one I went to (I can't recall the name) was full of tourists, but I was a tourist too! Maybe I would have liked it more if I wasn't suffering from a bad bout of jet lag!

I went since that is one of the things Prague is known for and I'm glad I did go, even to determine that it wasn't something I liked.

I would echo Lowcountry's opinion. It was not my cup of tea, but I was glad I went. If I were doing it again, I think I'd opt to go to more classical music concerts in Prague.

IMHO a waste of time. Have you checked to see what else is going on? There are usualy musical performances of all types, as well as jazz clubs, evening boat rides etc that I think would be more worthwhile.
