Blacklight Theatre - Prague

I think so, but I'm a theatre person.
We made a bad choice of show though. We were talked into one with more of a "theme" which centered around a mad scientist and a time machine. We sat through a series of long overdone skits in English, but just plain stupid -- like a Saturday Night Live skit that wasn't working, but they wouldn't stop anyway. In between these long scenes were wonderful black light effects. If I had it to over again, I'd opt for one that is all just "spectacle" and effects. No story.

Yes. We went to the one upstairs on Pariz street not far from Pravda restaurant. It was only $10 per ticket so if you tire of it you can leave without losing much. The place we went was a combination of black light skits and some pantomime. It lasted 1 hour 20 minutes. I noted that most everything we went to in Prague lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. Seems they've figured out the maximum adult attention span sans breaks. The blacklight skits themselves varied in interest but were generally quite clever. A worth evening's entertainment IMO.

Whilst I wouldn't travel to Prague just for it, it is something nice to do while you're there and if you have the time.

I can't remember which opera we went to see.. but it was funny-ish. I'm glad I went thought I wouldn't go to one again.

/brownie.

I wasn't sure which show was the best to see so I went to "The Kiss." It was only about $10 so I can't say that it was a total gyp....but I didn't enjoy it that much. To me it was kind of cheesy. However, the night I went the place was filled with Russian tourists, and they all seemed to love it.

If I had to do it over again, I would have skipped the Black Light Theatre and hung out with my British neighbors that night! Oh well.
