Alfonso XIII: Which Type of Room: Moorish, Castillian, or Baroque?

We have a reservation at the Alfonso XIII. Apparently, there are three types of room decor: Moorish, Castillian, or Baroque. Can anyone provide a description of the differences, or tell me which you prefer? Thanks!

I only had lunch at the Alfonso XIII.... but as I recall the public rooms had a Moorish influence. I'd go with that since the Moors are so influential in Spanish history.
Baroque almost anywhere would make me choke.. -

I once stayed in a hotel that was entirely baroque in design and decor (NOT my choice - for a meeting) and it was very eerie at night - since there were these oddly shaped and curlicued shadows everywhere in the room. The first night I could barely sleep.

I would avoid that choice.

I learned that the standard rooms are Baroque decor. Not just for that reason, but we decided to upgrade. We used a Starwood Instant Award, whereby we remitted 1500 points at check in to receive a double-class upgrade (I think it was then a grand deluxe room). It was enormous, with huge bathroom, closet/foyer area and bedroom/sittin room. It even had a tiny balcony overlooking the interior (yet outdoor) courtyard restaurant--just big enough for two adults to stand on at one time. So I'm not sure what decor we had--I'm guessing Castillian--very nice, in any case. The hotel was charming, the pool was awesome, and the location can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Our room was filled with decorative tiles so I am guessing it was Moorish.
