There's a huge supermarket, carrying alot of the names you know, and it is between the airport and downtown Nassau. There is another market, on Cable Beach, it's not as large, but does have a good selection.
Just ask your cab driver.
Have a great trip.
I believe there is a grocery store that is closer to Paradise Island but in Nassau. It is over the bridge from Paradise Island.
It's called City Market and it belongs to the Winn-Dixie chain. Don't expect US prices, though. It's very nice and very well stocked. It is on East Bay Street...not too far from the bridge.
There is a brand new City Market about to open next to the "old" one on Bay Street in the Cable Beach area. As of yesterday, the shelves were being stocked with merchandise.
It is no longer part of the Winn Dixie chain.
You can also shop online at Nassau Grocer which is a online grocery store with delivery to all locations in the Bahamas I used there service a few months ago it was really good. Great service www.nassaugrocer.com
