Hi Are there other places to get breakfast if you are staying at the Atlantis resort? My kids are not big breakfast eaters and I was wondering if there was a place either on or off site to get a lite and inexpensive breakfast?

WE are not big breakfast eaters either. When we go to the Atlantis we bring breakfast bars.etc. There is the Hurrican Hole Shopping Center a short walk down the road. There is a place called the New Stand that sells good, reasonably priced breakfast. There is also a small market where you can pick up some food to keep in your hotel room.

You have answered my posts before on Atlantis.
Can you tell me about the costs for each meal at the Atlantis. I understand from the website money signs that it is a pricey place. They are vague on the costs though. I believe you said before that you stayed in the coral towers. I have made a reservation in the royal with terrace view. The appeal of two queen beds vs. doubles was too much. We are traveling with our kids and they are fairly well behaved so I thought we could venture to a couple of nice dinners. I am thinking of Villa de este and the Bahamian club. What was your take on these? Also how far of a walk is the Hurricane Hole for breakfast from the royal towers. Did you see any of the rooms in the Royal towers? How was your room in the Coral? Villa D'Este and the Bahamian Club are two of my favorite restaurants at Atlantis. They are both pricey. I haven't been to Atlantis for about a year and a half, so I can't really remember exact prices. I did feel the meals at those two restaurants were worth the price. People go on and on about the price of food at Atlantis, but all resorts charge a lot for food. The Hurrican Hole Shopping Center is only about a five minute walk. There's also a smaller shopping center right across the street from Atlantis. If I remember correctly, a shop or two there sells "breakfast sandwiches".
Our room at the Coral Tower was OK--nothing special, but we liked the central location. We don't spend much time in the room anyway. The Royal Tower is definitely the nicest.

I am a yearly traveler to Paradise Island. I will be going in mid-June this year. I own a timeshare on Cabbage Beach (aka Paradise Island Beach) a good distance from Atlantis.

Anyway, I can reccomend to you much better restaurants on New Providence than Atlantis' meager, overpriced fare.

I highly reccomend Sun And... for your romantic dinner. The food is stupendous and the service impecable. Jacket (no tie) for men.

On Paradise Island, also reccomend Columbus Tavern, located at the Paradise Harbour Club. More casual, but very nice.

The Ocean Club on Paradise Island is 5 star all around. Jackets required. Located on Cabbage Beach, I reccomend the Courtyard Restaurant, but am not big on Dune (the other restaurant)

Anthonys Caribbean Bar and Grill has a breakfast menu as well as lunch and dinner it is a couple of mins walk from Coral Towers,actually just opposite Comfort Suites,reasonable prices.Hurricane Hole plaza a little further down the street has News Cafe,good for light fare also an Italian place that has brick oven pizza,and the marina itself has Green Parrott harbourside grill.I would avoid Blue Marlin restaurant i've heard only poor reports about the place.

Viall D'Este and Bahamian Club at Atlantis are very good. We were there for a week last year, and did the dining plan and those were our 2 favorites. I don't recall the exact prices, but I would estimate in the $100=$120 range. The gourmet dining plan runs $80 per person per day, with about $20 going to breakfast. So, that means that they calculate the dinner cost based on about $120 per dinner for 2, some more, some less, but that's about the average.
As for breakfast, there is also a small "coffee bar" type place in the lobby of Royal Towers, where you can get muffins, etc., and light snacks (sandwiches, etc.) for lunch.
We stayed at Coral Towers, and the room was fine. Nicely decorated, and a good size, with a balcony--no complaints at all, especially since we were not in the room that much.
