Atlantis towers and rooms
Can anyone please tell me the difference between the different Atlantis towers? If you have stayed at the Alantis before, can you tell me which tower you stayed at and how the room was.
I am getting married at the Bahamas and would like to stay a few nights at the Atlantis. I know the resort is overpriced but would like to splurge alittle. But I'd like to see what the best options are for the right price.
Thank you!

We stayed in the Beach Tower (cheapest tower) in July. I was pleasantly surprised by our room. The furniture and linens were decent and the bathroom was nice. There were nice toiletry products in the bathroom. The room seemed larger to me than alot of the hotel rooms we've been in.
I'm sure the Royal Towers is much more luxurious but I didn't see those rooms. One important difference between the towers is the location. It's a long walk from the Beach Towers to the RT at the other end. The RT is closer to the casino, the Dig and the slides. The Coral Towers is located in the middle. We hung out at the pools at the RT end so we had a long walk over each morning (but we had two little kids and their gear to haul so maybe that's why it seemed like a long walk!)
When deciding how much to splurge on your room, keep in mind that the restaurants are expensive. You can easily spend $50 per person for dinner before wine at their "gourmet" restaurants.
Whatever you decide, have a great honeymoon, it's an amazing place!

We stayed in the Royal towers two years ago and it was very nice. My brother stayed in the Beach and said it wasn't very nice. No offense to LisaDee, but he must have had the lowest quality room. He also had three small kids and said the walk was so far. He moved over to the Royal towers after a couple of days. None of our party stayed at the Coral towers.

We stayed at the Royal towers, the rooms were very nice and the location within the resort is right by the casino, slides, and aquarium. It can be expensive, but the food is VERY expensive. Ask them to upgrade you, may or may not work, but worth the try! The pools can get a little crowded, but the beach is really nice. Have fun

If it's only for a few days.. why not "slurge" and go to the Ocean Club. Much more luxurious and romantic, and you get full access to the Atlantis property. I know it's a bit pricey, but it's a honeymoon.
Personally, I wouldn't choose Atlantis for a honeymoon getaway.
