Wife and I are going to Anguilla in the Spring. Been to St. Martin but wondering if taking the time to visit St. Barth is worth it for a single day trip. (or possibly overnight) If so how do we best gets there(sea or plane), how long does it take and roughly how much would it cost? Thanks loads!!

It's not easy to get from AXA to SBH.
Unless you go by private air charter (figure around $800 to $1,000US each way) the only way to fly from AXA to SBH would be to take a short 7 minute flight to SXM and then connect to one of the comuter airlines that fly to SBH (about 20 minute flight). Note fling time does not include any waiting/connecting times at the airports. I'm not sure what the combined cost of those two flights would be but if you go to the St. Bart's website (www.sbhonline.com) you'll find links to the airlines that serve SBH so you can check schedules and fares.
Most people staying on AXA who wish to visit SBH do so by ferry - first going to Marigot on SXM then catching the ferry to SBH. R/T fare from SXM to SBH is about 60 Euros PP and about $10US PP each way between AXA and SXM. The ferry fro AXA to SXM takes about 20 minutes and the ferry between SXM and SBH takes about 50 minutes.
Anguilla Air Services flies at least once per day between Anguilla and St. Barth. The fare is about $200.
