Visit Maui Menus Online!!!
http://www.mauimenusonline.com
It's got a lot of the restaurants everyone's mentioned highlighted complete with menus, reviews, articles and a searchable database.
They might have been the one that gave SeaHouse restaurant the review.

Thanks to everyone's wonderful suggestions! Since we're only going to be there a few days, we wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meals. I've got dinner reservations booked already and we're going to try to hit as many of the others as we can for breakfast and dinner. I have a feeling i'm going to be rolling myself back on the plane for the trip home, but it'll be worth it!

hmmm--$35 for a "salad or sandwich" is typical overpriced, overhyped Mama's Fish House. If you want a great view and good food, take a picnic to the beach and save yourself a disappointing outing. I also like Pacific Cafe and Gerards.

I think I've seen that "local diner in Lahaina on Prison Street very near Front Street". They have Hawaiina style plate lunches too right? My tastes are pretty simple too: Sunrise Cafe and Moose McG in Lahaina. Buzz' Wharf in Maalea. There's a deli in Pawela (near Haiku) I think, that has great Kalua Turkey sandwiches. I'll look for the name. Also I like Casanova's and Polli's in Makawao.

The deli is the Pauwela Cafe & Bakery in Haiku:
