Which property would you recommend in Miami area?

Doral Golf Resort and Spa, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove or Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne?

Each is different and depends upon what you want. In the order you gave them they are:
a good place for golfing
a really nice businessman's hotel
a nice boutique hotel in the heart of shopping and college aged restaurants
a nice beachfront hotel.

Actually what I am used to are nice four or five star properties would not stay at anything less than. I am only needing for one night before a cruise. I just want something really nice. Last time I was in the area stayed at Turnberry. I liked it a lot but want to try someplace else.

If you are leaving for the cruise out of Miami, consider the Intercontinental Downtown or the Delano or Leows in South Beach. If you're leaving out of FLL then the Diplomat is wonderful. The Mandarin Oriental is supposed to be amazing tho.

Kim, check and see if the new Four Seasons downtown is open yet as well! If you want more of a "resorty" feel, I would go with the Ritz Key Biscayne.
