My usual Friday night cheap red wine while I try to keep my mind off the fact that I'm having dental work done tomorrow AM. Had a crown that fell out because my gum had grown over what was left of the old tooth. So tomorrow I get to have the gum "burned off". Sounds like fun, huh?! Am comforting myself with the fact that my brother had this done and said that he would definitely classify it as "uncomfortable" rather than painful!

A Mano Primitivo from Puglia 2002 - one glass.
Saving the rest for the First Communion today.
Bad Grandma- had to open it and have a glass- couldn't wait. Found it finally in a little wine shop that just opened. Salute!
Hope we hear more good news from mms, prayers continue- going to Church today-so you are getting them from the 7 and 8 year old innocents as well.
CAPH52, don't worry. It will be a piece of cake. 10 years ago I had to have gums removed and more than you want to know for jaw surgery bone additions (cogenital defect)and the doctors/dentists are terrific now. I was fully awake and it still was not that bad. When you look at those pearly whites when you are old, it will be worth it. And I think you are a Chicago person. Do you know you can suck White Castle hamburgers between your teeth, even with your jaws wired? True. You probably can eat right away, so you won't have to learn the technique.
