Trying to plan a little *before school starts back* long weekend for my daughter and a couple of friends. We go to Myrtle Beach alot and want something different but the teens still want shops and fast food and the ocean. It is about the same distance for me to go to VA Beach as Myrtle. I have looked on some different and I think they would enjoy skating on the boardwalk, etc. I would like to get a hotel along the boardwalk and fairly centrally located so they could do their thing and I could relax on the beach or by a nice pool.
I don't need 4 or 5 star, just clean and on the ocean with a pool.

longhorn55, I'm sorry for asking. I guess I was just wanting some advice from people on Fodors who had actually stayed there. Tripadvisor many times gets people who could not be satisfied with a mansion and servants. Usually on Fodors I seem to get better answers. I thought after all that is what this forum was for.
