Westin Maui vs. Grand Wailea Resort
Help!?!
My extended family (ages 8-70) will be in Maui the week before Xmas '05--we are agonizing over whether to stay at the Westin Maui or the Grand Wailea. Can anyone with experience compare/contrast the two hotels? Things I'm particularly wondering about:
--snorkeling
--beach access
--beach quality
--$$$: does one hotel charge more for incidentals (e.g. parking/towels/tennis/etc) than the other?
--$$$: does one hotel charge more for food than the other?
--pools: which hotel is more likely to be a hit with preteens and seniors?
