Weekend DC Trip - restaurants
I am going on a weekend trip with my boyfriend in November. We have Friday night through Sunday night.
I found a list of restaurants on this site, but it was LONG. I dont have time to click and read on each one. So if anyone wants to share their favorites with me, that would be nice. I would love to try new foods as well as a good steak house.
Also, anyone got any opinion of Dumbarton Oaks garden?

I am probably one of the people who contributed to the long restaurant list, but without knowing any preference beyond steak, I won’t venture another list. You may have to just work through the list you have, or take a look at the website for the Washingtonian Magazine at http://www.washingtonian.com/, which lots of people in DC use as their restaurant bible.
I do think the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks are pretty, but in November, you are not going to see very much at all and it could be cold and damp as well.. Not sure I would take the time at this time of year. The museum itself has some good collections and may have a special exhibit while you are there.

I agree with Cicerone's opinion on Dunbarton Oaks.
My pick for great Italian restaurant.
Obelisk. Very expensive
Washingtonian is a great resource. You can use a number of different search criteria to narrow your focus. But it will take a little time.
