Wall Street Inn

Has anyone stayed at the Wall Street Inn in Seattle? I have just made a reservation for there and now I am wondering if I should have as I do not see any recommendations anywhere for this Inn. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

although I can't speak for the accomidations the location is great. It is right in the heart of Beltown, actually above El Gaucho which is a very swank steak restaurant. Now you may want to inquire with the Inn as to the noise level if any from the street.

Thanks Wendy. Is this a safe area to walk around after dark? Is it within walking distance to the Market and Art Musuem? Thanks for your input.

Absolutely safe at night. It is one of the happening areas of town. Lots of restaurants and boutique shops. More north of there gets a bit seedy but south will lead you right downtown.

Walking to the Market and the SAM is a little ways but nothing major.

You might want to go to citysearch.com and look up the Wall Street Inn. Then map to the market.

Have fun!

Thanks Wendy. Any suggestions on what to do for a Sat. and Sun, 12/14-15 for three girlfriends (50) so no wild partying, on a getaway weekend. No car, so within walking, cab distances.

Do you like Jazz? check out Jazz Alley which always has great shows http://www.jazzalley.com/ Or what about tickets to the Nutcracker? The Pacific Northwest Ballet does one of the best! www.pnb.org.

Definately make reservations for a great dinner somewhere! Campagne or Shea Chez for French? Dahlia Lounge? Waterfront for amazing seafood? El Gaucho for steaks and an old dinner theater feel? So many to choose from!

What about tea at the Four Seasons? There is usually a vendor selling roasted chestnuts outside there too. Or a horse carriage around around town if the weather is nice?

And of course there is great shopping!!!
