I'd add Trinity Church, St. Pauls Chapel, The Museum of American Financial History, The Woolworth Building, South Street Seaport Museum, and the New York City Police Museum to downtown.
To SoHo I would add Pearl River and Prada.
I guess there are a few of things on your list I'd leave off (Carnegie Deli for example) and other things I think you've left off (Forbes Magazine Galleries, Takashimaya).
Overall, it is a pretty comprehensive overview of the best attractions in Manhattan. A great peice of tourist info.

Nice list, but as Rob says it's in need of updating, since it includes places that are closed (MOMA) or at least closed to the public (NYSE, Statue of Liberty).
American Craft Museum now calls itself the Museum of Arts & Design, but is still at 40 W 53.
The Museum of American Folk Art renamed itself the American Folk Art Museum and moved to 45 W 53 in December 2001.
Also, visitors should be aware that many new Yorkers take exception to the term "ground zero" when used for the site of the World Trade Center.

With people's updates and additions, this will make a great resource for travellers to NYC.
I've only been to NYC twice and you've really made me realise how much more there is I need to see there. Although I was surprised at quite how much I had been able to fit into my trips there. I guess I'd best get planning another trip then!

I was going to add the Forbes gallery (one of my local favorite) but I see GoTravel already did. This is a great and very comprehensive list. Let me just add, for those who like to shop, Century 21, across the street from the WTC site. And if strolling thru the E. VIllage, St. Marks place and McSorley's Ale house.
