Vegas Temps in June

Is it going to be unbearable in June in Vegas? We're booked for five days starting on the 10th and I'm worried it will be too uncomfortable to walk around during the day.

It really isn't that bad in Vegas in June. It is hot but bearable. Remember if you are walking the Strip, you have numerous hotels to visit to cool off.

It will be hot, but I was there in July and it wasn't unbearable (but then, I'm from Arizona). I think desert heat is nice because it isn't humid and cools down at night.

However, here are my suggestions for staying cool...
1. Stay somewhere central so you don't have to walk very far to see things. I think Bally's is in a great location.
2. Sleep in, have a late breakfast, then hang out by the pool during the day (or go to the casino or shopping). Everything indoors in Vegas is air conditioned.
3. Limit your walking outside by going out at night. Not only is the weather lovely, but it is more interesting at night anyways (with the lights and all).

Another note: Everything seems to be open late in Vegas, so just plan on sleeping in and staying out late. Another option would be to go out in the morning and then take a siesta in the afternoon when it gets hot.

Have fun!

June is hot, but liveable.
August is a time you probably want to avoid. I gained a great appreciation for Gatorade when I spent a week in Vegas in early August a few years ago. The casinos do provide easy solace from the sun and the heat though.
