Using Hertz in LAX

Any experience using Hertz in LAX?

Can someone explain how do you get from the Airport to the counter of Hertz? Is like in Houston?

Hertz is very efficeint at LAX. A shuttle bus will take you to the facility which is a few minutes from the terminal.

The shuttle keeps a regular schedule. After you get your luggage ask where the Hertz shuttle stops. One will come automatically with x minutes. No need to call.

At Houston Intercontinental (IAH), you ride a central rental car shuttle.

At Houston Hobby (HOU) or LAX, you ride a Hertz shuttle from terminal to the car rental facility.

Hertz at LAX is very efficient, especially if you have a #1 Club Number.

Don't look for a counter at the airport - head for the baggage claim and the exit.

As you exit the terminal, look to the signs above the island across from the immediate driveway you're facing.

There are different types of buses and shuttles stopping below the various signs.

Head for the nearest Rental Car sign, carefully cross that driveway and wait on the island, the Hertz shuttle won't be long, no need to call ahead.

Raise your arm as the driver approaches in case he's not sure if he should pull in.
