Abram, it sounds like a really great weekend. So your DH made it in OK? Are you both safely home now?
(FWIW, we had several au pairs from Iceland -- I heard from one of them the other day -- she was stuck in Johannesburg -- but in Reykjavik, where she's from, no ash!!)

We saw God of Carnage Friday, Race Sat matinee, and Lend Me a Tenor Sat nite. Loved God of Carnage and (even more so) Race. Lend Me a Tenor was my cousin's choice--we thought it was cute, but not fabulous--but it was worth it to see it with her because she adored it. I had picked the other two, so thought it was only fair to see what she wanted.
My husband got in Friday afternoon, and we both made it home, albeit late, last night.
