Movie Premiere in NYC????

While in London we stumbled upon the GI Joe movie premiere - which was awesome and will be in NYC in less than two weeks!! - Oct 16- 21. Where in NYC would there possibly be a movie premiere?? Would Time Out list them or where might we check out on the off chance - like I said we stumbled across GI Joe by visiting Leicester Square.

Most, though certainly not all, movie premieres in NYC take place a the Ziegfeld Theater in midtown. Seems like a total waste of time to me, but I realize that's not my thing, and a lot of tourists want to see celebrities.

Oh2, I understand where you're coming from. Years ago I was in LA on business. One of the employees of the local office asked me my plans for the weekend, and I mentioned I wanted to do some celeb spotting. They scoffed and suggested the county jail, but I did meet Laura Leighton (Melrose Place) at a dog park in Laurel Canyon. I noticed her right away because she was dressed much nicer than everyone else there, LOL. She greeted me as she exited the park and I entered it - very friendly.
