The Sanctuary in Chinook, WA
We had a very memorable meal at the Sanctuary a few nights ago. It's a church turned restaurant, the ambiance is very romantic.
The Swedish meatballs were the hit of the night. We ordered them as an app, but next time they will be the entree. The fresh, wild salmon, caught that am was also delicious as was the Swedish creme with huckleberry sauce for dessert.
A bottle of Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris went very nicely with the salmon. Service was doting and excellent. A must for anyone in the area.
After dinner we drove to the beach where we watched the gorgeous sunset over the ocean.
Little Ocean Annie's is their casual restaurant which serves wonderful fish and chips that we were allowed to sample while we dined there. ***kim*** www.sanctuaryrestaurant.com
