What are the best sushi resaurants on the strip???

You want to check out CheapoVegas.com, they have lots of reviews of restaurants in Vegas. I am leaving Satuday 4/10 and goT a list of 5 Japanese restaurants. Hamada & Hamada Asian Village are in casinos, but rate high. Many casinos have added sushi bars. Good luck and ENJOY!

The service can be snooty but I love the sushi at Shintaro at Bellagio. Pricey too but fresh and often very creative.

Am not a Sushi fan but saw it on the menu at Ah Sin in Paris . We had a great meal at very reasonable prices. You may be able to check the menu at parkplace.com and look for Paris restaurants. Enjoy!

Forgot the name but the sushi bar in caesars is killer

There's an all you can eat sushi bar off strip a few blocks called Makino's. I know you were looking for on-strip, but if you're planning to eat a lot, it might be worth a small cab ride.

I just thought of another one... Little Buddha in the Palms is pretty awesome. The atmosphere is really part of the experience, and the sushi is top notch. I haven't been for a while, so I'm not sure on prices, but you'll definitely need a reservation.

Hamada in the Luxor is really good. The sashimi is very fresh and the service was excellent. I've been to Hamada at the Flamingo and it wasn't as good as the one at Luxor. I've also been to Shintaro at Bellagio--the ambience was nice and posh, but the sushi wasn't as good as at the Luxor. You may want to try Nobu at Hard Rock...I haven't been there but I've been to Matsuhisa (same chef) in LA and that place is one of my favorite restaurants in the world.

I second Makino. There is a fabulous variety of sushi there, as well as a good assortment of other foods. It's a great value, and tasty too!!

Hmm. I guess the others guessed right. I opened this thread to talk about sushi on the Sunset Strip in LA, particularly Miyagi's. Isn't it funny how when people make no indication of where they're talking about we make different assumptions. I guess in retrospect the Strip in Las Vegas is more famous, but the first "strip" that came to mind to me was the "strip" in LA, especially since recently someone posted about nightclubs along the strip, and that time they meant LA. I guess we are all supposed to be mindreaders.

I am surprised to see that nobody mentioned Todai in the market place at the Venetian Resort. It is right at the front door of the marketplace that opens onto LVB. It is a famous (?) all you can eat sushi, and more buffet. It's the only place I have found that has AYCE sashimi, including maguro, katsuo, and aji. If youwant to see a sample of what's on the menu, they have a web site todai.com. Cost is about $30.00 pp, but well worth it. Sushi is incredibly fresh.

We had a good experience at Todai as well but the one we went to was in the Alladin, right by the front door.
