Las Vegas - favorite restaurants
We are planning our first trip to Vegas with friends and family.
We like to eat out at nice restaurants and also like to just have pizza.
I would love to hear about your favorites, no matter how inexpensive, expensive or in between.
We won't have a car so places on the strip or not too far off would be great.
We are staying at the Mirage
Also, does anyone know of any websites (except the hotels themselves) that have menus?
Thanks

We absolutely LOVED Le Cirque in the Bellagio Hotel...To die for food, Expensive, incredible decor, fabulous service...Compared to that which we had in FRANCE~ WONDERFUL- highly recommned...
Also the dinner buffet in the Paris Hotel is terrific...and reasonable.

Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Hotel is nice for lunch while sitting on their outdoor patio.
Most of the places at Bellagio are good. Some like Le Cirque, Aqua, and Prime, IMO,are exceptional.
For a fun Vegas experience, definately have a meal at one of the outdoor tables in one of the Caesar's Forum Shop restaurants or one of the Italian spots in the Piazza San Marco at the Venetian. At the former we like Spago and at the latter Cannaletto.

If you type in a text search you will find hundreds of posts regarding LV restaurants. The forun shops at Caesar's or the Aladdin has the best inexpensive-in between dining. The main part of the hotel has excellent top$$ restaurants. Best upscale splurge dining is at the Belaggio and the Mandalay Bay.

Thanks everyone
nataliemm - I did do a search but there were so many posts that came back with restaurant information mixed together with a lot of other information so it was hard to go through.
I thought a new thread about it would be useful

Picasso - romantic, great view of fountains after dark
Mon Ami Gabi - good lunch spot if you get a table outside and the weather is tolerable, good frittes, good house wines by the glass
Pinot Brasserie - good classic French with some new twists, considered "French/Californian Cuisine"

If you like trying something different- check out Samba in the Mirage. It is a Brazilian rodizio experience- basically, for around $30 they bring around big skewers of meat (all you can eat) and also several side dishes that were very unique. I highly recommend it if you have somewhat eclectic tastes. The dining area is very visible from the casino lobby- since you're staying there go check it out!

My favorite spots are La Sin (in Paris) which is an oriental style restaurant with outdoor seating to enjoy the weather, watch the Bellagio fountains, and I've always found the service fantastic; Bertolini's for lunch, located in the Caesar's mall; Spago's for lunch, also located in the Caesar's mall. There's also a Mexican restaurant at the Hard Rock but the name escapes me - it's fablous. And ditto to Samba unless you're a vegetarian - go with the meat "experience" (they keep bringing out skewers of various meats for you to enjoy).
I personally didn't like Mon Ami Gabi when I went there for the first time a few weeks ago - I received poor service and the special that night was not up to the other meals I've had in Vegas. But sounds like I caught them on a bad night!

We have a few Rodizio style restaurants, near where I live and we like them. We haven't been to one in a while so it's definitely an options
Good tips, everyone, keep them coming
