Las Vegas Restaurants

Hi -

We will be in Vegas for 3 nights in May. One night we are going to Mesa Grill. The other night we are thinking Mon Ami Gabi (we are staying at the Paris). We are thinking sushi/Japanese for the 3rd night. Any suggestions?

We enjoyed the sushi at Tao in the Bellagio.

We loved Japonais at the Mirage. (We liked Mon Ami Gabi, too.)

We liked Mon Ami Gabi just fine, but Bouchon was exceptional for similar prices.

Because you are staying at the Paris, I would try the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We wandered in there one day to show our daughter the view, and the hostess and staff could not have been nicer. We decided to come back for dinner and thought it was fantastic.

We also loved Prime Steakhouse in the Bellagio. We did not care for Mix at Mandalay - it feels like you are inside a ping pong ball, and the food was not that great.

There is a great Italian restaurant in the shopping area at Ceasers - I think it was Il Mulino.

Bon Appetit!

Mon AMi Gabi is better for lunch. I agree w/djk that Bouchon would be better for the $$$. Can't help w/Japanese.

Bumping this up for more restaurant ideas in Vegas...
I don't have a sushi recommendation, but would love to hear those, too.
My favorite restaurant so far in Vegas is Emeril's Fish House at the MGM.
Would really like to try B&B Ristorante (Mario Batali's place) at the Venetian, as well as Mon Ami Gabi, and maybe Olive's...

For casual breakfast or lunch, we liked the Creperie and 24 hr. cafe in Paris. I like Mon Ami Gabi for lunch or early supper. My daughter and I just wanted a light meal so had soup, salad and an appetizer at MAG. It was very good.

We did enjoy a magnificent lunch at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris. And, they encouraged us to return for just drinks or dessert, anytime.

Just got back from a weekend trip.

This time, Emeril's was not nearly as good as the first time. Such a disappointment. But we had a great brunch on Sunday at Bouchon at the Venetian.
