Casino Restaurants

I'm going to Vegas this weekend. I will eat at one buffet per day. My question is does anyone have recommendations for restaurants other than buffets at the various casinos. I'm staying at Paris and I know they have some good restaurants.

Mt- The Paris buffet is excellent though maybe a slight bit overpriced. In terms of the restaurants at the Paris, like Mon Ami Gabi and the Effiel Tower, I cannot comment. Noodles at the Bellagio is a bit overpriced, but it's good. Picasso was quite delicious, but that may not how you want to spend your gambling winnings. My friends liked Red Square at Mandalay Bay but not China Grill. Quark's Bar at the Hilton was a thumbs up and so was Benihana (though maybe that's too pesdestrian for you?) However, my recommendation for flat out the best restaurant in Vegas is Drai's in the basement of the Barbary Coast. Phenomenal food but not the most phenomenal price.

We ate at Mon Ami Gabi (at Paris) last month and liked it so much we went back the next night!

For Italian food I like the Cafe Andreotti at Harrah's.

If you are only doing buffets, and you like seafood, you MUST go to the Rio's seafood buffet. Go early, the wait can be long! It's a bit pricey, but what isn't in Vegas? And it's truly worth it! The Rio is a bit off the stip, behind Cesaers. The Buffet in Paris is good, too, but again a bit pricey. Enjoy!
