Suggestions for REALLY good food in Ft. Lauderdale.
We will be in Ft. Lauderdale next week 10/11 and would like to eat good. Can you suggest restaurants in the Ft. Lauderdale and nearby areas. We were disappointed with the restaurants on the River Walk and Los Olas. You guys are always right on the money. We loved your suggestions a few years back regarding Anthonys brick oven pizza. We go there every trip. Thanks!

One of my favorites is Blue Moon Fish Company in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea...outstanding! http://www.bluemoonfishco.com/
For something more casual, I also like Aruba Beach Cafe right up the street (it's directly on the beach, and also has multiple bars and a lively crowd).

River House (near but not part of River Walk). Ask for a table overlooking the water. www.theriverhouse.com, I think

I've been going to Ft Lauderdale for the past 5 winters and have to say, I don't think there is really good food there! There is a lot of mediocre food."
Just curious but . . . why do you keep coming back then?
