Siesta Key beach view condo
Hi! Very excited! We've decided to visit Siesta Key in January for a week. It will be my husband, my future baby (who will be 7 months old)and me. Now we need to find a one bedroom condo with a view of the ocean. My husband and I live for our morning coffee overlooking a pretty view when on vacation. Definitely need a condo for the kitchen (baby requirement). A washer/dryer would be nice if this exists. Would love all your wonderful suggestions!

Try this web site:
www.siesta4rent.com
Nice, in-depth site w. tons of photos.
I haven't stayed there, but the Sarasota Surf and Raquet club seems to come up pretty often on these boards. Do a search for "Siesta Key" and you'll get more than enough info.
Have fun planning --

Yeah, I checked out the Surf & Racquet Club because I too noticed it gets mentioned a lot. Unfortunately, we only need a one bedroom and they have only 4 at the the whole place. None of them have a view of the ocean. So, my quest continues. I appreciate the website link. I'll check it out. I just like to hear people's personal experiences with a place rather than picking blindly.

We stayed at the Palm Bay Club and it is directly on Crescent beach. We rented our unit (2 bdr) thru VRBO.com. Be sure you are looking at units in the waterfront tower, as there are other buildings set back a distance from the beach and others even across the road on the bay.

Thanks for this lead! I looked at the Palm Bay Club's website and I like what I see. The only thing they don't show you are the bathrooms. Are they decent? It makes me nervous when they don't show you the bathrooms.
Saw some reviews on this place on another website. They were mostly good but interestingly, the few comments that were negative all had to do with poor customer service. What's your opinion on this? Thanks again for your help!

Both bathrooms in our unit were very nice. We didn't have to deal with the staff much, so not aware of any customer service issues. The owner of the condo we rented arranged for us to pick up the keys at his rental agency, and they were ready when he said they'd be.
Be aware that the pool is a bit of a walk from the tower building on the beach, if that's an issue for you. The pool you see in some of the condo pictures belongs to the complex adjacent to Palm Bay Club. Palm Bay Club has two pools; one is midway between the beach and the front office, and the other is for the units across the road.
I would happily stay at Palm Bay Club again.
