by the health dept for failing its exam for 2 consecutive months. I know that this place is popular among tourists, so I thought I'd post this info.

My daughter and I ate here last year!

I sometimes recommend it to friends/family visiting that have teens.

We had a table next to Ashley Tisdale, an actress from High School Musical and a Disney channel show, so it was a good experience for us. Food was ok.

I'm glad I now know NOT to suggest it during my stay next month when I meet my SIL and niece visiting from London. Thanks for the heads up!

How sad
Some of my happiest memories took place in Serendipity..my first date ( tea in the afternoon) with my husband. Sooo many of my daughters and sons early birthday parties..laughing with Goldie Hawn and her earlier husband over my baby boy, Vincent Price giving my baby girl his autograph which read, Happy Birthday xx Love, Vincent..
Frozen Hot Chocolates, a winter afternoons pot of Earl Grey Tea and toasted Irish soda bread..

weeping...

Whoa. Just a week ago Serendipity announced their new $25,000 dessert which made it into the Guinness Book of Records. The owners appeared on the Today show with this dessert as well. Now we find out that for $25,000 we may find cockroaches or mouse droppings in our dish?

Or... they didn't offer a big enough bribe to the health inspectors.

Rats and roaches and filth, Oh my!

Serendipity 3 will reopen as soon as it passes a health inspection, which could be in the next couple of weeks.
