Seats to Wicked Broadway in Gershwin Theatre: Orchestra Row M

Hello, I will be visiting NY this summer and have tickets to Wicked, Orchestra Row M, seats 101 and 102. They were the only seats in orchestra that were available and I was hoping to find anyone who has sat in these seats? All of the dates I looked at for Orchestra only had Row M available so I am worried there is something wrong with this row? Appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you.

You'll be fine. You're on the aisle in the center section.

It doesn't get much better than center aisle seats in any theater, and row M is far enough back that you'll have a good view of the entire stage (this is a really huge theater).

As everyone else has said, your seats are great. I would guess they were amongst the more expensive seats and perhaps passed over by some looking for a less costly choice. Whatever the case, enjoy the show!

My guess is that they were being held for some reason and then released. If the whole row was open for more than one show, it's the only explanation that makes sense to me. I've gotten great seats at the last minute at many shows over the years for similar reasons. I wouldn't think that blocks of seats were saved for radio stations and VIPS like they are for concerts, but it's possible.

For one Wicked show in San Francisco, I was seated in the "friends and family row" in seats held for cast members' complimentary seats. I didn't realize it until intermission. Turns out I was seated next to Patty Duke's husband (when she was Madame Morrible) and their son. My seat was a leftover from a group of six held for the people sitting to the right of me. They only needed five and my seat was put up for sale a few hours before showtime. DF had a work dinner conflict at the last minute, so of course I headed for the theater box office
