There's nothing in Hillsborough. VERY expensive neighborhood, but no restaurants within the township, much like Los Altos Hills, another magga exclusive town in the Bay Area.
Viamar is right. (Although he's missing an "e"
Burlingame has a lot of nice restaurants, check it out. MUCH nicer than San Bruno and much closer than HMB.

Is it the tough sounding "Bruno" that made you ask or do you have "something" juicy on San Bruno...I am just funnin with you.
Sorry about your loss...seriously.

annieladd: What are you looking for, elegant, casual, Mexican, Mediterranian, Thai, seafood, etc.,?
There is an excellent upscale bistro in Woodside, John Bentley's, which is an easy highway 280 ride from Hillsborough. There are tons of good restaurants on the Penninsula from Burlingame to Palo Alto which are an easy drive from Hillsborough. But, we need more information before we can really help you.

Yeah I did forget an E, not once but twice! Jeeze, I drove by Burlingame Ave. everyday for 4 years. Oh well...I must need a vacation.
The town of Burlingame is nicer than San Bruno, but all the hotels in Burlingame are near the airport anyway so it doesn't really matter where you stay. Hillsborough is sort of between Burlingame and San Bruno but is located between 280 and the El Camino. Burlingame goes all the way to the Bay.
Anyway, there are lots of restaurants in Burlingame and San Bruno, give us an idea of what kind of restaurant you are looking for.

The family ended up having all the meals planned for us out of towners. Upon someone's suggestion we used site59.com. It was awesome for last minute travel. Saved lots of $$.
