I was recently able to book Radio City Apts for about $100 a night in Feb, 05. I thought this sounded like a very good price especially considering it has kitchenette. But is it still "shabby"? This will be our first trip, mainly going to see some NY theater and we may be spending a some time in the room due to weather. Tips on nearby Deli's, food stores?
Thanks,
CTS

The San Carlos Hotel was recently gut renovated so everything should be brand spanking new. You might also want to check rates at the Marriott Courtyard on Third Avenue in the 50's.

cts, have you read reviews on tripadvisor? Very good recent reviews. Don't know if it's been renovated
