Oh no such luck for me. I was home sick from Thursday (when, by the way, I actually got sent home from work) through Tuesday, missing all the great plans we had for the weekend. And when did I decide to go back to work? Wednesday -- day of the first snow of the season. When I was awake at four o'clock in the morning, I was standing by the window looking at the snow.

Worst day of any year in Toronto? The day you wake up, look out the window, see snow and say OH $HIT!

We lost a lot of trees on our street in those big summer windstorms. One huge limb fell about a foot in front of our parked car and right across the road, right where some kids had been playing a few minutes before.

Good question, schuler. They say "Love is blind" but really!
On the other hand, maybe she did "see" but didn't want to believe what she was seeing. I wonder how long she has known or suspected.

She's young. She's beautiful. She has two wonderful children. She will have enough money to live well on for the rest of her life and her children's lives.

I'd take off for an extended Christmas holiday with my Swedish family and forget what's-his-name.
