Pre theater dining

Any suggestions for a good restaurant prior to an evening on Broadway performance?

Since there are hundreds of restaurants to choose from within a reasonable district to the theaters, answer a couple questions:
How much do you want to spend?
What type(s) of food do you prefer?

My husband and I have two favorites (if you like Italian food): Fresco by Scotto, 52nd bet. Madison and Park or Orso, 46th St. off 8th Ave. Both are very accomodating if you tell them you are going to the theater.

There are restaurants up and down theater row, 46th street. One of my favorites for ethnic cusine is Lofti's.

I love Baldoria (49th St. between B-way and 8th Ave) son of Rao's can stand onits own merrit - can be a little pricy.
also
Dervish Turkish - not only offers great food, very good prices, but a parking discount - (146 W 47 St -bet. 6 & 7 AVE)
also
District @ the MUSE Hotel 146th St (bet 6&7 Ave) -American cuisine
also
Lotfi's (46th St bet 8&9 Ave) great Moroccan
my family's favorite is :
Ruby Foo's - Boradway and 49) great staff, upbeat, outstanding asian food
also outstanding is:
Utsav - 47th bet. 6 & 7 (entrance on 46th ) outstanding Indian food, good martini's and beautiful setting
I've been disappointed with (food) Joe Allen and B. Smith, Dish of Salt and Orso's though I know others who swear by them...
