For Korean, 32 st. just west of Fifth Ave. is known as little Korea. Gam Mee Ok is considered the best on the street I think. Cho Dang Gol on 35th st b/w 5th & 6th is also good.
Minado is a Japanese/Korean buffet place with all you can eat lunch and dinner for a set price. 32 st b/w Fifth & Madison.
There are good Chinese and Japanese places all over the city in almost every neighborhood. Grand Sichuan is a local chain with good, spicy, inexpensive food. Ollie's is a chain of noodle shops that's also good and cheap. If you go to menupages.com and select a neighborhood and then pick a cuisine you can read reviews.
There are also many Thai. Wondee Siam has 2 places on 9th ave b/w 52-54 st and I also like Siam Inn on 8th ave & 52 st.

Presumbably you're talking about New York City?
If so, there are literally hundreds of delicious and reasonably priced Asian restaurants in Manhattan alone, in every neighborhood.
What area or areas interest you? It wouldn't make sense for you to travel for "delicious and cheap" Asian food when there is probably a place right around the corner.

In spite of mahy Korean restaurants in the city, not many are really that special, imho.
Try Kang Suh (sp?) on 32nd Street. Some tables have the barbecue pit in the middle.
For Thai, the best in the city is not in Manhattan. If you could make the trek to Woodside, Queens and endure the wait for a table at Sripraphai, then you'll be in for a great treat. It's very cheap and In my opinion, one of the best outside of Thailand.

Ise at 56th and 6th is a good, reasonably priced Japanese restaurant for bento boxes and sushi. I think there is another branch nearby too. Katsuhama on 47th and 5th is another reasonably priced place, popular with Japanese nationals for tonkatsu (pork cutlets), very authentic fare. You can check menupages for the menu selections. Good luck.
