Please confirm that this is a good Atlanta hotel choice...

https://www.marriott.com/hotels/trav...anta-buckhead/

I am fairly familiar with Atlanta but just want to make sure that this would be a good place for a girls weekend. We want to be close to Lenox and Phipps Plaza and the shopping around that area.

Also looking at a MainStay Suites on Sidney Marcus Blvd., but I seem to have lost my link to that.

Thanks!

The Residence Inn is a better location for Buckhead than anything on Sidney Marcus.

Have you looked at the Embassy Suites?

No, Brian, I haven't.
I always start with Marriott properties, and the cost for a single room is only $87, and the location is good, so it seems like there's so need to look any further. I just want to confirm that it's a safe place.

I'm always up for changing my mind, though.

The Residence is a good spot. You are nearby Lennox and Phipps. Many good restaurants. Two MARTA stations. The neighborhood is safe and pleasant.

I would go for the Residence over Mainstay.

The location is fine.
Check to see if the JWMarriott is offering any weekend specials.

Good location. You are close to Trader Joes for a quick Two Buck Chuck fix. Good price especially since it has free parking. Another good choice is the Doubletree. I've been able to get it for $69 a night on weekends.
