Penn and Teller
We will be in Las Vegas for the first time in October and were thinking of getting tickets for Penn and Teller. We aren't "big show" types and have seen Cirque de Soliel before. Is the Penn and Teller show worth the time and money? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

We saw Penn & Teller last year and enjoyed it immensely. The theatre at the Rio is not too small, not too big, just perfect. And Penn & Teller were a hoot. The tricks were ever so sleight (of hand) they had me wondering how they do them. And compared to all the other shows they were reasonable. I enjoyed making the trip across town to the Rio, was something and someplace different.

I would love to see Penn and Teller! We saw Danny Gans in that theater years ago, it is a great room to see a show like that.
They will be on Jay Leno tomorrow night, he is doing his show from the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas this week~

We saw them last year and really enjoyed their show. They invited the audience to come up on stage before the show to investigate some of their props and greeted everyone in the lobby (and gave autographs) afterwards. My family and I had a wonderful time.

I've seen Penn and Teller three or four times. They are good, but I prefer Mac King at Harrah's. King has a hilarious afternoon show that costs about $16 and for which you may find 2-for-1 tickets being distributed by a showgirl outside the casino. The afternoon magic show at the Tropicana is good too.
