Penn and Teller

We will be in Las Vegas for the first time in October and were thinking of getting tickets for Penn and Teller. We aren't "big show" types and have seen Cirque de Soliel before. Is the Penn and Teller show worth the time and money? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

We saw Penn & Teller last year and enjoyed it immensely. The theatre at the Rio is not too small, not too big, just perfect. And Penn & Teller were a hoot. The tricks were ever so sleight (of hand) they had me wondering how they do them. And compared to all the other shows they were reasonable. I enjoyed making the trip across town to the Rio, was something and someplace different.

I would love to see Penn and Teller! We saw Danny Gans in that theater years ago, it is a great room to see a show like that.
They will be on Jay Leno tomorrow night, he is doing his show from the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas this week~

We saw Penn and Telle and loved it. The Rio Hotel is fun for a visit as well. If you know a little about Penn and Teller and like what you have seen so far you will love the show.

Just making sure you have seen Penn & Teller perform, before. They are the kind of act that most people really like, or really dislike.

Keith, I'm curious. Were you a liker or a disliker?

"IS THIS YOUR CARD!?!?!?!" =-O

We saw them in Sacto a few years ago and would LOVE to see them in Vegas.
They may have a DVD or Video out so you can get the 411 on their style of "magic"/performing.

We saw them last year and really enjoyed their show. They invited the audience to come up on stage before the show to investigate some of their props and greeted everyone in the lobby (and gave autographs) afterwards. My family and I had a wonderful time.

I've seen Penn and Teller three or four times. They are good, but I prefer Mac King at Harrah's. King has a hilarious afternoon show that costs about $16 and for which you may find 2-for-1 tickets being distributed by a showgirl outside the casino. The afternoon magic show at the Tropicana is good too.
