Ft. Steves is right on coast, just west of Astoria.
If you have already been to the Gorge on your trip, I would focus on the coast once in Astoria, there is a lot to see in and around Astoria, such as the Maritime Museum and the Lewis and Clark related exhibits and parks, like Fort Clatsop.
Shortsands beach is in California.
Strawberry hills is in Central Park
Cascade Head is in the Cascades.
Have you ever heard of Google search? These can easily be found there.

Just returned from the Oregon Coast so I knew these sites were actually in Oregon, but had to Google to get exact locations: you could have done the same.
Fort Stevens is near Astoria.
Shortsands Beach is part of Oswald West State Park, south of Cannon Beach.
Strawberry Hills is just south of Yachats.
Cascade Head is near Lincoln City.
If you are an AAA member, they have an excellent map of the Oregon and Washington coasts that really helped us in locating specific viewpoints.

Azzure has it right on all counts, but to be more specific, Cascade Head is north of Lincoln City... about six miles. The view south from the Head is one of my favorites on the Oregon coast. And I agree with NWW's recommendation to visit Cape Disappointment State Park. Best of any view of the mouth of the Columbia from the park's Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center.

I am a native Oregonian passerbye.
I just noticed multiple posts from bodhijack with some suspicious questions, such as "we are vegetarians, which means we eat everything except red meat, chicken, and fish..........
I suspect they are bod"hijacking" this area of the forum.
