Oregon Coast in Sept
We will be travelling the Oregon coast for 7 days the end of Sept for our Honeymoon. I was there long ago, but cant remember many details other than it was beautiful.
Can anyone help with suggestions for accomadations (nice ones), or awesome things to see or do?
Also, what weather would one expect at the end of Sept? Thanks in advance!

Will you be toward the northern end of Oregon or southern? If you're down near the bottom third - I would recommend the Yachats (pro. Ya hots) and Florence area - we're actually getting married at the Heceta Lighthouse there in May. Extremely scenic. The innkeeper's house is a bed & breakfast with amazing views and food! Yum. www.hecetalighthouse.com - Lincoln City (about half-way up the coast) is also gorgeous - they have many good spots to picnic and stay right along the beach. Weather-wise it will probably be around 75'ish? I'd check www.wunderground.com though to be sure.

September has the highest average temp (around 70) of any month on the northern Oregon coast. You might get a little wet, but weather should be fine.
Stephanie Inn at Cannon Beach is probably the most recommended accommodation on the coast. Having stayed there, IMO, its reputation is deserved.
Opinions differ as to where the scenery is best; I think the whole coastline is spectacular, but the central coast around Haceta Head Lighthouse shouldn't be missed.
You might include these on a list of things to do:
1. Jet boat ride up the Rogue River from Gold Beach;
2. Golf at Bandon Dunes, now one of the top golf destinations in the country;
3. Dune buggy rides just south of Honeyman State Park;
4. Oregon Coast Aquarium, south of Newport.
5. Hang-gliding from the cliffs above Oceanside (on the three-capes loop).
6. (my favorite) Lazing on the beach at sunset, glass (Riedel, for you euro forum folks) of wine in hand.
