Oahu hotel advice

I will begin my honeymoon in September in Oahu. Any advice on hotels? Possibly the Renaissance Ilikai Waikiki Hotel or the Pacific Beach Hotel.

I would go to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is a wonderful resort, set on about 40 acres with 2 or 3 pools, beachfront property. Although some people have given the Ilikai a favorable review, I think Apple Vacations only rate it 3 apples and just walking around the property, the Ilikai does not come close to the Hilton!!! (Just my opinion)
Congradulations on your honeymoon, my husband and I will be celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary in September and of course we will be staying at the Hilton.

yes, the hilton hawaiian villiage is wonderful.....but for a honeymoon?? i found it to be more family-oriented rather than romantic......

These two hotels remind me of Las Vegas they are so huge.

I'd go to the Kahala Mandarin Oriental because it's beautiful and away from (but close enough) to Waikiki. Alternatively, for a place on Waikiki Beach that is elegant, the Halekulani is considered the best hotel, followed closely by the Royal Hawaiian.

Hilton Hawaiian Village is far too large and commercialized for a romantic honeymoon hotel. Head to Maui or Kauai.
