There are two hotels on that corner, the Newton and a Days Inn. They are next door to each other, directly across from the 94th Street entrance to the subway (subway stop name is 96th Street).

Any specific reason you are staying that far north?

The Newton get good reviews for a budget property but often sells out. Not sure about Days Inn.

Great neighborhood but primarily residential - unusual to pick that intersection.

Don't get me wrong - I love the area - live not far away - but I've never seen anyone ask for that specific intersection before.

It's a great neighborhood. The hotel is basic but gets good reviews for a basic hotel. Lots of restaurants close by. Midtown is an easy subway or bus ride away. Riverside Park is a few blocks on one side and Central Park on the other. The garden from the end of You've Got Mail is a short walk away. If you get off Broadway, you'll see lots of nannies and dogwalkers every day folk living every day lives.

Fra is right. It's MUCH cooler up there.
