NWA strike- should I be worried
Leaving for Amsterdam March 9th. Worried about the possible NWA strike. What if they strike when I'm over there- and can't get back. On the other hand, there are worse places to be stuck.

I really don't know enough about the strike to say one way or the other what might happen, but I will say - try to worry as little as possible. I know it's easier said than done! But worrying won't change the situation any. If you think there's something you can do to safeguard yourself (trip insurance, or whatever), then it might be worth looking into. But worry alone, worthless! And, as you said, there are worse places to be stuck than on vacation in Amsterdam (though I understand that adds unexpected expenses).

We're leaving for Naples Fl next Wed on NW - just assuming they'll be flying.

I do not know if still true, but I would get myself a paper ticket issued from NW before you leave. I have heard that if all you have is E-tickets a problem arises with trying to book on other airlines. Like I said not sure--but cannot hurt to cover yourself.
