New Orleans questions - hotel and spas

So two women, friend and I, are going to New Orleans. Two places I'm looking to stay are either Place d'Armes or Wyndham Bourbon Orleans - any thoughts, good or bad on either?

Also, we're interested in having a morning of spa events, like massages and the like - any recommendations of a nice spa? thanks!

Finally - where is the best place to have a sunday brunch in New Orleans?

We liked the Place d'Armes very much. Had no problems at all. Haven't stayed at the Bourbon Orleans. Most any of your better restaurants have good Sunday brunches. The only place we won't return to is Brennan's - our experience was truly bad from beginning to end.

We have future reservations at the Place d'Arms - have not yet stayed there, but the location is terrific. Right off Jackson Square, close to the clubs on Bourbon street but not right in the middle of things, easy walking distance to everywhere in the FQ.

Just back from terrific stay at W French Quarter-the quieter side, but close to everything else. Stayed at Bourbon Orleans a few years back-fun when you wanted all that commotion, but thre were times I did not want to see (or smell it). Commanders Palace is my favorite brunch place.

BellaDonna spa on Magazine Street is great - have you looked into it?
