Need condo suggestion for the Big Island

Hi,

Would like to go to the Big Island and rent a condo for a week. Would prefer a quiet and close to the ocean one bedroom.

Thank you.

Aloha! were you thinking of the Kona-side ? Hilo-side? Waimea? Hawi? South Point area? For the kona-side, try www.CondoInParadise.com or the Konaweb.com
Have Great Fun !! janet

Sea Village has really nice condos, most with ocean views. We've stayed there a few times and really like it.

We've had good luck renting from this agency:

www.konaoceanfronts.com

Rates are reasonable; units are immaculate and attractive. I like that there are photos of each condo on the web site, so you can chose one that appeals to you.

Go to www.vrbo.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner) and search for Big Island or Kona or whatever location and condo or apartment. The condos are listed by number of bedrooms as I recall. You are also dealing directly with the owner, not an agency. (We got really ripped off by an agency a few years ago with unreasonable extra cleaning charges -- one dustpan worth of confetti they dug out from under a sofa that we did not move while cleaning before we left.)

Anyway, here's the place we stay. It's in Kona, very quiet, well-furnished, etc. http://www.vrbo.com/36456. It's a two-bedroom place, so it may not be in your price range, but take a look. The owners have always been very fair and cooperative.
