Need a 2 brm condo in Breckenridge

We are two couples planning our summer trip to Colorado and are trying to narrow down choices for a 2 brm Condo in Breckenridge for 2 or 3 nights. We are interested in the Pine Ridge condos, does anyone have any experience of this property or can recommend somewhere decent under $200 a night preferably within short walking distance of Main St. Thanks in advance.

Hi Patricia, You shouldn't have any trouble finding a great place for that price in summer. Have you been to the resort website yet? If you click on the lodging map it will give you details on what's close to Main St., from there click on properties to find out descriptions of the condos and pricing and availability info. If you want to see if you can do better price-wise, then chose a place and see if you can find it on www.vrbo.com.

I hope that helps. You'll have a great time!

Five of us-3 adults and 2 teens- stayed at these condos last Easter, and found them quite nice. We had one with a loft, so very spacious also;would definitely stay there again. Only 2 blocks to downtown. If you have a condo on the top floor, you get an aerobic workout just climbing up all the steps LOL

Thanks for your replies. Grasshopper, yes I have looked at the resort website, so many choices!! We will be touring around for 7 weeks (we are from New Zealand) and are little put off by the cancellation clauses on some of the rental websites. Hopefully we won't have any problems but 7 weeks is a long time with vast distances to cover and we may find ourselves having to make last minute changes to our itinerary. Mona 2, I was wondering if there was an elevator at Pine Ridge, now I know, guess we could request a condo on the lower floors, or back to the drawing board! I will now have a look at what is available on VRBO. Any thoughts on Village at Breckenridge Resort, can get a 2 brm condo for $179 a night plus tax through hotel.com but the property doesn't get very good reviews on tripadvisor.

You're right about the cancellation charges. BUT there's NO way everything will be booked up in the summer so why not call ahead a couple of days when you are more certain when you'll arrive? What a great trip, Patricia! I have a home in that area so if you have any questions feel free to email me. [email protected]

Good info about the type of trip this is. I think Grasshopper has given you good advice. You won't have any trouble finding something in the mountains at that time. You could probably just show up at Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, etc. but you can probably get slightly better rates by reserving. And I would think it could be less than $200/night, although now I realize you will be sharing, so that is quite reasonable.
