Hubbie and I have reservations for La Cage Aux Folles on a Friday night in May (Marriott Marquis Theatre). Want to meet up with some other friends afterwards who are arriving in that evening. Can anyone suggest a good happening place for drinks and maybe a late night snack after the show?

The Flute Bar, is one of THE spots this year. Very close to where you will be and very nice atmosphere. There is a website (www.flutebar.com)

Cafe 1 2 3 is also a favorite of mine it's on 43rd between 6th and Broadway, and a crowd pleaser after the theatre. The creme brule is legendary.

Enjoy the show, it has gotten great reviews.

I agree with the recommendation of Cafe Un Deux Trois.
