Mamma Mia

There are six of us going to Mamma Mia at the Winter Garden Theater on a Sunday evening. We would like to do drinks and appetizers before the show near the Theater. Can you recommend a place?

Try Thalia, on 8th Ave. @ 50th St. We just ate there for the 1st time last Saturday pre-theatre, and it was wonderful! Enjoy your dinner and the show!

Absolutely. You'll have a great time at St. Andrew's, 120 W. 44th St. It's a Scottish pub with delicious appetizers.

At this late date, you'll have a very difficult time getting reservations anywhere for pre-theater on a Saturday night in the theater district. I wouldn't even know where to begin recommending any place. You may have to settle for sitting at a bar somewhere.
